June of 2007 we went to Uganda with three groups. We worked on two independant projects, one in Iganga and one in Mbale. The Iganga project was a two classroom primary school but our funding and on sight coordination were blessed beyond our wildest dreams! The group provided two buildings with 5 (five) classrooms. Our Mbale projuct provides rooming facilities for a group called the Uganda Women's Concern Ministry. The hut looking buildings will be available to rent by the UWCM for income and to allow for visitors to cut the drive to Mbale town for lodging accomidations. We took 50 workers with us this June 36 students and 14 adults. What a trip! Be on the lookout for pictures and a totally new sight in the near future. Eric Brookhart |
